The Tomball JV Football team had a close to perfect season, finishing 9-1. Their only loss was against their newest rival, Tomball Memorial.
What got them through the season was their immense amount of camaraderie.
“We’re like a family,” said sophomore Harrison Heim. “And we play as one.”
Along with their teamwork, the Cougars also displayed a very skilled offense with talented runningbacks. They have a very successful season to look back on.
For Heim, the memory of clinching a district title will linger.
“Beating Stratford on a missed field goal,” he said, “was a really great way to become District Champs.”
According to junior Taylor Weems, the season “went by way too fast.” But the team has next year to look forward to as they play for 22-4A District Champions for the second time.
