A new district means new competition for Tomball sports teams next year. Predictions are being made, allowing coaches to prepare for this different level of play.
Without any previous experience against these other schools, Tomball basketball will have to step it up in order to beat these teams.
“Tomball Memorial will be good competition,” said Coach Jim Kearns, “as well as Fort Bend.”
The key to the Cougars’ success will be the camaraderie between key players, such as Nathan Fannon, Daniel Prince, Marqueese Grayson, and Kyle Handler.
marshall will be a very good team, according to Kearns. “They beat the two teams we lost to.” With focus and dedication in practice, the Cougars will be able to beat the big rivals easily. “We have the ability to shoot the outside shot,” post Daniel Prince said.
