New district previews: Shining season for football?

The 2012 football season is expected to have some big changes.

Coach Tommy Kaiser is retiring after five years as head coach.  His replacement is still unannounced, and many questions remain as to the makeup of next year’s coaching staff.

With the new 4A district, the team’s expected rival looks to be Stratford High School.  “A lot of people think the new district will be easy, but it’s actually going to be a difficult season,” said junior Ramsey Miller.

Some important players will be Josh Horton, Ilxon Santiago, Max Baronaske, and Kendall Browning.  “Our defense will definitely be our strength,” said junior defensive end Connor Ramirez.
