The Lady Cougars ended their season Friday night, falling to The Woodlands 12-5 in a single-game playoff atSamHoustonState.
The Woodlands were held in check early in the game but exploded for three runs in the fourth and six in the fifth for a 10-0 lead. Tomball rallied to score four runs in the bottom of the fifth on three hits, an error and two wild pitches.
