The boys golf team shot their best team score all year to finish in 4th place overall in the district tournament recently at Gleannloch Pines Golf Club. Lee Tillman was one stroke away from qualifying for regionals with a two day total of 3 over par, and earned All District First Team honors for his finish.
Jonathan Roark also earned All District honors with his two day total of 9 over par. Colten Stanaland shot a career best 74, with a 3 under par front 9 on day 2 of the tournament.
As for the girls golf team, Freshman Lauren Pettinati has been selected for All District Team as well as Sophomore Maryssa Ferries for the second year in a row after shooting a 2 day total of 153 to earn second place honors. And for the second year in a row, Ferries has advanced once again to the regional tournament in Waco.
