Lady Cougars volleyball play tonight, where they hope to repeat their previous success against the Klein Oak Panthers.
Intense games between these two teams are always expected. Tomball and Klein Oak seem to have a bitter rivalry between the two. Maybe the reason is that both teams are threats to each other to be No. 1 in the district.
“This will be one of our toughest games yet, but we are confident that we’ll push through and win!” said senior April McCain.
Last season, Tomball and Klein Oak had to share the district title.
“We have practiced more efficiently in preparation to claim the district title,” junior Sydney Ziober said.
Year after year the competetion for each team hardly ever lessens leaving both to battle it out on the court.
“We’re pumped, we’re excited, and we’re ready,” junior Tiffany Kroll said.
The freshmen A team is scheduled to play at 4:30. JV follows at 5:30, and the Varsity game begins at 6:30. The players are hoping for a full house to cheer them on.
