Coogs win opener 45-16

The Tomball Cougars kicked off their 2010 football campaign with an impressive 45-16 win against Katy Morton Ranch, as Justin Dvorak ran for two touchdowns and threw for another.

Dvorak finished the day with 150 yards passing, a touchdown and one interception.

The Tomball defense also came up big, with Malcolm Scott returning a pickoff 26 yards for a touchdown in the second half.

Tomball, which led 21-3 at the half, plays Friday night at home against Jersey Village, which has yet to play. It’s Senior Night, so all seniors are encouraged to attend for a special halftime show.
