The Tomball Indoor Percussion placed third last Saturday at the North Shore Percussion Contest.

“Our placement is really good for where we started,” sophomore Joselyn Escobedo said. “I’m so excited to see us keep getting better and hopefully placing higher.”

They received a score of 79.5 out of 100 points. These scores are based off composition, performance quality, musical journey, and the commitment to the piece.

Their next competition is Saturday, Feb. 25, at Pasadena Memorial High School.
