The Senior Awards and Scholarship Ceremony will be held on May 19.

The ceremony will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. however students will need to arrive 30 minutes early. Parents and family members are encouraged to attend and support their graduating senior.

All students must be in dress code to participate in the ceremony. The dress attire is dress-casual.

Any student that received an honor chord, UIL award, organization stole or other distinction should fill out the bright yellow information form from the College and Career Center and turn it in to room 1102 to have their awards announced at the ceremony.

“While students will be recognized for receiving scholarships, only the ones they will be using are going to be announced,” said College and Career Counselor Emily Nichols. “That amount, however, will still go into the total dollar amount of scholarship money awarded to seniors at THS.”

At the beginning of 4th period on May 18, there will be a practice run-through for the ceremony. Associate Principal Mark Vierkant will be making an announcement to release all seniors to the auditorium for this practice.
