Encore: Cougar Charms showcase dances one last time

Ally Osman, Features Editor

This week the Cougar Charms will perform their contest dances one last time before closing out the year.

The Charms will be performing on both tonight and Saturday night at 7 in the auditorium. The showcase will include their four team contest dances, three officer contest dances, the Elite team contest dance, the incoming Major’s ensemble, the senior showcase dance, incoming and outgoing officer dances, THS girls and boys dance classes, Tomball Junior High and Creekside Park dance classes, Dancin’ Bluebonnets, Cypress Elite, and more.

The team follows Charms tradition by doing their team pump before a halftime performance. (Charms)

There will be snacks and drinks sold in the concessions booth in the lower lobby for purchase before the show and during intermission.

Encore will be the last time the 2021-2022 Cougar Charms will be performing together. Senior line member Kennedy Babb has a bittersweet feeling when considering the end of the year.

“Being a Charm has taught me so many valuable life lessons, and I’m excited to dance with my team one last time and make memories behind stage,” Babb said. “For the past four years the Charms have always been there for me, and I can truly call them my family.”
