Red Ribbon Week has begun, a week of school dedicated to help keep students drug free.

Student Council has decided on these fun and exciting themes for this years Red Ribbon Week.

Monday – Pajama Day- Focus: Marijuana “Chase your dreams, not drugs” Kahoot Competition.

Tuesday – Anything But a Backpack- Focus: Tobacco “Be smart, don’t start” Most creative non backpack competition.

Wednesday – Jersey Day- Focus: Alcohol “Team Up Against Drugs” Link Competition.

Thursday – Superhero vs. Villian Day- Focus: Steroids “You have the power to stay drug free” Pushup competition.

Friday – Senior Citizen Day- Focus: Fentanyl “Grow older, give drugs the cold shoulder” Door decoration competition.

There are some restrictions for the themes, such as the alternative to a backpack cannot be bigger than a suitcase, nothing potentially dangerous or offensive, or things you can’t bring including wagon, shopping carts, anything motorized.

Costumes for Thursday need to be school appropriate.
