NHS Officers “tap” in new members

The NHS Officers went from class to class on Wednesday to “tap” in new members, their form of induction into the society.

Each new member received the traditional yellow carnation and got tapped on each shoulder while the officers repeated the four pillars for NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Many students enjoyed this experience and are excited for next year as an NHS member.

“I was not expecting it at all,” junior Lucas Botello said. “I thought it was unique way to induct members.”
