More Updates about COVID-19

Elise Guerra, Feature Editor

The recent outbreak of COVID-19 has left a bunch of Tomball students curious about their quarantine vs. school situations. After recent discussion between the school board, school will be closed until April 10th as many of you already know. Some of you may be asking how you’re going to have access to your school work or food, but the district has already come up with multiple solutions in order to fight against these predicaments.

Meals:

The district has opened up free meals via curbside for any student on Tuesday and Wednesday each week, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at THS.

Technology:

For those who don’t have access to laptops in order to conduct their online lesson, TISD will be planning on providing access to chrome books to students.

Internet:

Although the district hasn’t discussed issues regarding internet connection, lots of providers are taking action and opening up free WiFi to anyone.
