Markaela Van Putten, science teacher, has won the Golden Torch Teacher Award for the month of November.

National Honor Society has introduced the Golden Torch Award this year as a way to recognize each departments favorite teacher. The voting will take place at the end of every month by NHS members.

Each month the NHS officers will present the winning teacher with the Golden Torch and a small gift. Brooke McGarrah
