Tomball ISD received a letter from the education commissioner which stating that Tomball is among the districts that will not have to make up days for the recent hurricane and will not have to make any changes to the school calendar.

This news has received a mixed response from students at THS.

“I wish we could make these days up because this is a State Competition year for band.” Lauren Thompson (10th) said, “and we need as much practice as possible to be able to be the best we can be.”

Meanwhile Sofia Erreguerena, also a sophomore at THS, was overjoyed.

“All I know is less school means less stress, and less stress means a happy me.”
