Get ready to feel the beat: The Tomball Cougar Pride Band is hosting a percussion competition, Tomball Drums of Fall.

The competition in being held on Saturday, Sept. 30, and will consist of up to 19 percussion groups and four well-known judges. Due to Tomball hosting, the Cougar percussion team will not be able to compete but have signed up to volunteer, as well as many other band students in the hopes of making this a successful fundraiser.

The band hopes to raise $10,000 with the fundraiser for the band for future cost and improvements to the band program. This would be this biggest fundraiser of the year and hopefully will be a fundraiser for years to come. This competition will also bring a lot of attention to the school and the other extra curricular programs of the school and might allow other programs to be granted competitions too.

Tomball Drums of Fall encourages all Tomball students to come out and support all the hardworking percussion groups or volunteer for any amount of time.
