Local scholarships for graduating seniors have been posted in Naviance.

There are many different categories- including college-specific, service-based, disability, merit-based, need-based, and athletic scholarships. Seniors can win scholarships for their intended majors, or be awarded money through local organizations like the Abandoned Animal Rescue of Tomball.

Additional requirements for individual scholarships can also be found through Naviance. Some may require an essay; some may require a separate application. Not all of them are open to everyone- some are only offered for students who meet certain criteria.

Check the deadlines for each application- many of them are approaching in March and April.
