Progress Report grades due, may affect eligibility
Grades for the six weeks progress report were due last Friday afternoon.
This progress report will count for eligibility. If students are failing one or more classes, they will not be eligible to participate in UIL events or other extra-curricular activities.
However, students can re-gain eligibility in the next three weeks before the first report card comes out at the end of the nine-week grading period.
If students have missing work or are failing a class, they are encouraged to talk to their teachers. Teachers can give students an opportunity to earn back missed points on a major assignment, and can offer guidance for improvement.
Remember that this progress report will count for eligibility but lost eligibility can be redeemed before the grading period ends. Stay on top of your grades and communicate with your teachers; they can help you where you need it.
