Band takes First Place at contest
The Cougar Pride Band won first in their class last Saturday at their first contest in New Caney. The band won awards in Best Music, Best Visual, and Best Overall Effect.
This is a big achievement for the band’s first contest, considering many practices were canceled due to lightning and rain.
