Tomball STAGE presents a surprising new parody of America

History isn’t always the most class in school. But luckily, the Tomball STAGE is providing us with a way to bypass all that boring rambling by a teacher, and have some (not completely clean) fun! It’s “6000 years of history, presented in 6000 seconds of satire!”

Next week our Theater department is opening one of the most enjoyable comedies in “history.” Opening night is Sept 22nd and runs through the 23rd, 24th, and 26th. All showings are at 7pm in the auditorium!

You can buy tickets online now for $8 at www.tomballstage.org, or for $10 at any school lunch on Wednesday (9/21) or $12 at the door!

The show is a comedic parody of America, and points out some of our best and worst moments, all while providing some more objective satire, as well as still keeping it as patriotic as possible!

The surprising part, is they actually had to tell us to be wary of insulting jokes and comments during the show. “But be warned, there is a slight parental advisory because the show contains some crude language, as well as minor dirty jokes…I mean, have you ever seen a G.I Joe Superman shoot Hitler and his wife?” Is Tomball getting more brave with their plays?

Well, anyway, the students involved in the show are: Kenady Strutz, Izzy Cross, Kayla Lewey, Gianna Woods, Ethan Chichester, Silas Chauvian, Dalton Kendrick, Ryan Hinojosa, Andrew Mahoney, and Priscilla Lopez.

Along with the stage managers Hailey Trebus and Karena Chauvian, lots of techies will be part of the show.

I implore all of you to come down one of these nights to watch history unfold before your eyes, support these students hard work, and have a night of unprecedented laughs!
