Today the Theater Department will perform their One Act Play, “After Juliet,” at their district UIL competition.

The One Act Play is a show where students involved in theater perform an 18-40 minute play in front of a judge. They are judged and awarded based on individual performance, and actors are critiqued on stage. The three highest scoring productions then advance to the Bi District level.

Tomball will be competing against Magnolia, Waller, Stratford, Tomball Memorial, Spring Woods, Magnolia West, and Brenham.

“After Juliet” will be performed both at 4:30 pm. The contest is open for the public to watch,  so make sure to come and support the theater students as they compete this afternoon in the THS Auditorium.

UPDATE

The Tomball Stage advanced through District and will now go on to compete at Bi District.

Any students who missed the show will get a second opportunity to see it at Dinner Theater, April 11th. Tickets will be available at lunch a few days in advance or at the door. Dinner must be ordered in advance at lunch or online.
