The Science Olympiad team competed at a regional competition this past weekend at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. The team placed overall fourth out of twelve.

Each of Tomball’s contestants competed in events pertaining to earth science, biology, physics, chemistry, computers, and other technologies. The individual events consisted of two contestants competing against one another.

“It went well,” said sophomore Science Olympiad member, Jacqui Machuca. “It was my first time competing at regionals and I got fourth place… I had a lot of fun.”
