For all students eligible to vote, today (Feb. 1) is the final day to register to vote in the primary election. In order to register, students must visit the front desk, ask for a voter registration card, and mail the completed card to the designated address. No postage is required.

Election day in Texas is March 1 so students should be sure to begin thinking about the candidate they wish to vote for. Texas, unlike many other states, has open primaries, so it is not required that students identify with a particular party.
