PSAT to undergo changes

The spring of 2016 is set to bring major changes to the SAT. Scoring will change, content will be altered, and essays will become optional. While some students find this change to be beneficial, others are worried about how to prepare for the unknown content of the standardized test.

In order to better allow students to prepare for the life-changing test, the PSAT is also going to be redesigned.  Current sophomores and freshman will take the updated PSAT in the fall of 2015. It is going to feature content that is modeled after the updated SAT. The College Board will release study material for the 2015 PSAT in a few weeks.

To find out more information about the changes being made to the SAT, the Princeton Review is offering a free event at the Lone Star College Tomball Library on January 17. The session is titled, “SAT is Changing,” and registration is required for attendance. To register call (713)-360-3169 or visit www.princetonreview.com.
