Homecoming Queen win was her Destiny
It was a dark and stormy night, and Destiny Lee couldn’t have been happier.
The senior stood in a heavy rainstorm at midfield Friday night and was crowned Homecoming Queen.
Lee, an editor on the yearbook staff, was hugged by her mother and got a thunderous round of applause, right before thunder and lightning ended the halftime show and the game.
Milo Ortiz was named Homecoming King, and both shared a dance the next night at the Homecoming Dance.
