The Tomball Writing Station held its first writing contest, “Dark and Stormy Night” and chose four finalists, Brandon Springer, Marcus Cobb, Matt Valentin, and Leanne Haas. All of the finalists have received a TWS t-shirt.
The Grand Prize winner, Leanne Haas, will receive a $25 gift card, as well as a t-shirt. “The whole thing was pretty cool, I appreciate the recognition.” said Haas.
All four finalists will be recognized by Student Council with a free pizza luncheon for their accomplishment. “I’m very excited to have been chosen to be a finalist” said Springer.
All entries are still available to be read on tomballwritingstation.com until the next finalists are chosen for the “Alphabet Story Contest”, which is open for both students and staff to enter.
