Some familiar faces at Tomball High School will be missing next fall when school opens.
The district announced late Friday that David Unruh and Ana Bruton, both currently assistant principals at THS, will be moving to Tomball Memorial High School when it opens in the fall.
They will join principal Carol Houston as the administrative team at the new school takes shape.
In addition, Chris King will move over as assistant band director.
The TMHS coaching staff is also taking shape as Kevin Webb and James DeBruin have agreed to follow head coach Finis Vanover from Angleton High School. Webb will be the defensive coordinator, while DeBruin will direct the offense.
Doris Greenstreet will move over from Willow Wood Junior High to be librarian.
This week will begin the process of deciding which teachers will be moving from THS to the new school. On Thursday, teachers will meet after school with administrative officials and be given a form to list their first choice of which school they prefer.
Superintendent John Neubauer told the Cougar Claw staff this week that he expects most teachers will be given their first choice of assignments, although some may be told they must move over or stay put to fit district needs.
