With finals approachinhg, the pressure is on, and the hard work begins again. Here is a list of websites to help you study, concentrate, and find textbooks for a cheaper price:
Khan Academy: Khan Academy has instructional videos, practice tests, and exercises for all ages in subjects including math, science, computer programming, history, art, economics, and more. They partnered with NASA, The Museum of Modern Art,
The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT. They also have an SAT study section with eight full practice tests and practice questions. If you’ve taken the SAT previously, you can link your account to your college board account to personalize your SAT prep experience.
College Board: The college board offers many sources to plan and strive for your future, including college, scholarship, and career search, AP and SAT information.
Keep Me Out: This site allows you to block any website while you’re studying for any amount of time. It will warn you when you visit the blocked website, allowing you to focus on homework.
TED.com: It allows you to watch talks and learn from 18 minute talks that range from science to business to global issues–in more than 100 languages.
Student Rate: This page allows you to buy everything from makeup to textbooks with a student discount. Needless to say, it saves you money.
Koofers: This websites allows you to access practice exams, flashcards, study guides, notes, and more–all for free.
Open Study: Through this website, people can get homework help from millions of students and moderators and learn how to solve problem with step to step explanations or share your knowledge with other students.
Quizlet: Quizlet allows users to create their own flashcards, as well as access other people’s and test your knowledge through tests, matching activities, and timed practices.
Final Grade Calculator: Allows you to calculate what grade you need to get on your final exam in order to get a certain grade in a class.
