THS to again host Nutcracker performance
The Tomball STAGE, will be hosting the upcoming performances of the Houston Repertoire Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker in the THS Auditorium.
This showcase is hosted by the Tomball STAGE every year, with the help of its Directors and students.
With their productions in full-swing, the Houston Repertoire Ballet website released a statement explaining what the company is about, as well as details about performances:
“Houston Repertoire Ballet (or HRB) is a premier pre-professional ballet company in Northwest Houston providing professional quality performances in Tomball and the surrounding areas. Our program attracts and develops some of the finest young dancers who have gone on to professional ballet companies throughout the country. Please learn more about us through this site and join us for our acclaimed Nutcracker in December and Celebration of Dance in April.”
Tomball High School junior Stephen Johnson is an alumni techie when it comes to annually working on HRB’s Nutcracker production.
“Working this show is a really great experience and a lot of fun,” he said. “You meet some of the most hardworking people. It’s really cool being able to help with such an amazing art form.”
Performances will be held Dec. 4-6. An A&E (time-abbreviated show for children) will be held Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 shows will be at 2 and 7 p.m., and Dec. 6 shows will be at 1 and 4:30 p.m.
