Flanagan a finalist in photo contest

For the past year and a half, Tommy Flanagan has been dedicated to photography. He has over 13 photos published on Italian Vogue’s website, over 22,500 followers on Instagram, and was recently named the a finalist in the Photographer’s Forum College and High School Photography Contest.

Over 1,000 photos were entered in the Photographer’s Forum College and High School Photography Contest, and Tommy was recognized as one of the finalists.

Tommy started began his photography career with just a small Nikon camera. He now has upgraded his equipment and uses advanced programs to make his photos stand out.

The avid photographer uses Adobe Photoshop to edit unique pictures of himself, and his sister, Caroline.

“I enjoy taking self-portraits,” Tommy said.

But not only does Tommy take photos of people, he has also been recognized for his architectural, nature and sports shots. His pictures are featured on the Cougar Claw website and in the school yearbook.

Tommy has been a photographer on the yearbook staff for the past two years. He displays his pictures and edits on his Instagram account: @tommy_flanagan.
