Powder Puff delivers a show
Monday night, the Tomball ISD stadium lights were on for the first time of the year as teams Mechanix on Wheels (Red team) and TLR Services (White team) lined up on the field for the annual Powderpuff game. The home-side stands were filled with red and white from top to bottom.
With everything from female football players to crossdressing male cheerleaders, the night was filled with laughs and festivities. Serval people who purchased raffle tickets were selected throughout the game to go and compete in various mini games to be able to win prizes.
Throughout the first quarter, team TLR Services led the Mechanix on Wheels 7-0. At halftime the score was raised to 13-7 with TLR still in the lead.
At halftime the red and white cheer squads performed their prepared dance routine under the direction of seniors Rainey Rizzo and Beth Horton.
Near the end of halftime, the Powderpuff king and queen were crowned. King- Savanna SipeĀ Queen- Charles Warren and Miss Gorgeous- Aaron Adkisson.
In the third quarter the TLR Services team set the scoreboard to 20-7 with their third touchdown.
The fourth quarter resulted in a touchdown by Mechanix on Wheels and the final score was 20-13, with the winners being TLR Services (White Team).
