DIY: Breakfast Shake

Do you find yourself skipping breakfast on a day to day basis? Not only is that unhealthy but it can extremely impact how the rest of your day goes. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Breakfast provides you with the energy and nutrients that lead to increased concentration in the classroom. Studies show that breakfast can be important in maintaining a healthy body weight.

Hunger sets in long before it’s time for lunch, but because it’s not convenient to eat properly, many people who have not eaten breakfast snack on foods that are high in fat and sugar.

So here is a quick delicious drink that will give you that morning drive to succeed throughout your day.

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups of Milk
  • 2 scoops of Ice cream
  • 2 bananas
  • 6 ice cubes
  • Chocolate or strawberry powder (optional)
  • Fruit (optional)

Steps:

  • Add 5 cups of milk to the inside of the blender.
  • Add 2 scopes of ice cream.
  • Add 2 bananas.
  • Add 6 ice cubes.
  • (Optional) add chocolate or strawberry powder.
  • (Optional) add fruit
  • After all ingredients have been added, put the top on the blender.
  • Set blender to liquefy (or whatever option applies).
  • Leave in blender for 3 minutes.
  • Serve
