The 86^th annual Academy Awards aired on ABC last Sunday night and Ellen DeGeneres hosted quite a show. This was her second time to host the Oscars. She ordered pizza for some of the attendees and the pizza store owner said that he didn’t expect to be on TV. Ellen also took a selfie with A-list actors including Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, and many others that earned over 2.6 million retweets on twitter.

The films and actors nominated this year were incredible, though some of the winners seemed predictable.

Speaking of winners, Ladies and Gentlemen, the winners of the 86^th Academy Awards:

• Best Picture- “12 Years a Slave.”
• Best Actor in a Leading Role- Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club)
• Best Actress in a Leading Role- Kate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine)
• Best Actor in a Supporting Role- Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club)
• Best Actress in a Supporting Role- Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave)

Poor Leonardo DiCaprio; he still hasn’t won an Oscar after being a five time nominee. Better luck next year.
