Pokémon Go,  a game everyone talked about when it came out last July, changed the lives of many. It gave people the opportunity to go out with friends and catch virtual creatures. The game also broke five world records:

• Made 206,5 million dollars in the first month after release
• Number one app in 70 countries at the same time
• 130 million downloads in the first month
• Made 100 million dollars in 20 days
• Best-selling app in 55 countries

Not a single app had those numbers before– not even hit games like “Angry Birds” or social media apps like “Facebook.”

Now, 3 months later, no one talks about it.

The game lost millions of players and dropped from number one to 31st in the “Games” category in the App Store.

Of course a game can’t be number one forever, but the hype for this game has been gone for a while. There are still people playing, but definitely not as many as this past Summer. The game is definitely on a decline.
