Boys basketball takes longer view
Boys basketball is off to a rough start as they play a run of tough teams. These games against harder teams could bring an easier time in district.
Being in a new district they’re beginning to learn how these teams play, and their skill level.
“The hardest teams will probably be Klein Collins and Stratford. Our strengths are that we trust each other and we have good individual talent,” Jamal Grey said.
The team hopes a brutal non-district schedule helps them reach the playoffs when district play begins.
“The culture we built is part of what makes us such a strong team, and our intelligence level makes us good,” Grey said.
