As the track season starts coming to a close, track and field gets closer and closer to the district meets, which for sub-varsity is this week. with it not just stopping there as for varsity, there is the district meet and three more meets after that. Those meets specifically are the Area Meet, Regional Meet, and then State Meet.
The schedules are as follows:
Sub-Varsity Track & Field:
- March 27: District Meet – at Klein High School
Varsity Track & Field:
- April 3-4: District Meet – at Tomball High School
- April 10-11: Area Meet – at Klein High School
- April 18-19: Regional Meet – at Midway High School
- May 1-3: State Meet – at UT-Austin
The sub-varsity district meet will be the last meet that they have for this year’s track and field season, marking the end of their season.
Varsity however can continue past the district meet and onto the area, regional, and state meets. However, they will have to work for it as only a few athletes from each event will progress onto the next meet. Meaning that only the best of the best of each event will progress forward to the next meet past the district.
