Softball has opened district play with a match against Klein Collins on Wednesday, Feb. 12 and had an amazing outing winning 15-5, getting out to a 1-0 start before going into tournament play on Friday and Saturday where they overall had a positive outing.
The girls will play Mag West for their home opener on Friday, Feb. 21 then follow that up by travelling to Klein on Tuesday.
Girls soccer continues dominating district opponents
The varsity soccer team has continued to roll through anybody standing in their path as they won their last two games handedly, beating Klein Cain 3-0 then Klein Forest 10-0 and are now coming off of a long and restful off week.
They will be travelling to Mag West to face off against the Mustangs on Friday then be back at home to play Klein on Tuesday.
Boys soccer in favorable position in district race
The Cougars pulled off an impressive lat comeback against Klein Collins to win 3-1 and currently sit at 6th place in the divisional race, but a win Friday over Mag West would jump them into 5th only a half game back from 4th, which would put them in a playoff spot.
They host Mag West on Friday where the times have been moved around and Varsity will play at 4:30 followed by JV then Freshman, and the team will hit the road Tuesday to face Klein
Baseball prepped for season start
The baseball team has played well throughout their preseason matchups and have their first regular season game Thursday against Porter which will be played at Deer Park High School.
