As the 2025 track and field season begins, Tomball High School athletes are ready for a packed schedule. Both sub-varsity and varsity teams are prepared to give their all in practices and competitions.

- 4/3-4: District Meet at Tomball HS

The Cougar Relays on February 27-28 will be a major event for Tomball athletes. Competing on their home track will give them a chance to showcase their skills to the local community.
Track and field stand out because of the variety of events it offers. From running and jumping to throwing, there’s something for every type of athlete.
The sport also encourages personal growth alongside team success. Athletes aim to set personal records (PRs) throughout the season, striving for constant improvement.
Many track athletes use the sport as a gateway to college opportunities. Strong performances at major meets can open doors to scholarships and collegiate competition.
Preparation and recovery are key to succeeding in track and field. With a busy schedule, athletes need to balance training, rest, and nutrition to stay at their best.
The Tomball track and field teams are eager to tackle the challenges of the season. From the first meet in February to the state championships in May, they’re ready to make this year memorable.
