With the Cross Country team moving up from the Seven Lakes meet with the 5k and 3200m races at Seven Lakes High School, here is what you will want to know about the next race, Brenham Hillacious.
This upcoming Saturday, the Tomball Cross Country team will be racing at the Brenham Hillacious Meet at Brenham High School. There will be 5 divisions. The divisions are:
- 5-6A Varsity Boys
- 5-6A Varsity Girls
- 1-4A Varsity Boys
- 1-4A Varsity girls
- 5-6A Junior Varsity girls
The team will arrive at the field house at 5am, leaving at 5:15 they should arrive to the meet around 6:30am. The start times for the race schedule are as follows:
- 5-6A Varsity Boys – 7:30AM
- 5-6A Varsity Girls -8AM
- 1-4A Varsity Boys -8:25AM
- 1-4A Varsity Girls -8:45AM
- 5-6A Junior Varsity Boys -9:10AM to 9:30AM
There will be an award ceremony after the races are done with the top 10 finishers getting medals and the top 2 teams from each division getting awards as well. On a side note, racers will need their own money to spend when at Bucees, so parents should give their kids money for the stop if they are racing and taking the bus home.
