Tomorrow the Coogs will go head-to-head with the Klein Cain Hurricanes for the last district game at 2 p.m., at Klein Memorial Stadium.
While this game won’t be a deciding factor for playoffs (both are assured a playoff spot), this game is significant for district standings. The teams are tied in 3rd place for 6A Region II District standings, meaning the winner gets a slightly better playoff seed.
The Coogs have been preparing hard for this game and are looking for a confidence boost going into playoffs.
“We’re treating this game like any other one,” quarterback Carter Noyes said. “We’re playing ourselves Saturday and are looking for a win going into playoffs.”
