Senior events are right around the corner. Here are some events coming up.
Senior Sunrise is the first event of the year, and it was held last Friday, 15, from 6:15-7:15 a.m. The event was on the THS football field, where the seniors gathered together to watch the sunrise, take photos, and have a good breakfast that the Senior Parents will bring.
Next up is the Senior Picnic that the Senior Parent Organization (SPO) has organized. This event will be held on Oct. 8.
This is a fun event that allows seniors to skip school (field trip) while the underclassmen are taking the PSAT. Food and activities will be included as well.
During the Senior Picnic, Senior T-shirts are normally worn on this day. The officers need help designing a cool Senior T-Shirt, so if anyone has any design ideas, they can be emailed to [email protected] or [email protected]. The shirts normally have all the Senior names on the back. They will be on sale as soon as a design is chosen.
There is also going to be one fundraiser that gives seniors the opportunity to earn free prom tickets. The Trash Bag Fundraiser will be introduced at the upcoming Senior Class Meeting.
Other events with dates TBD are Powder Puff Football, Mr. Debonair, Prom, Senior Sunset (the end-of-year counterpart to Senior Sunrise) and Graduation. Additionally, there are some very nice recognition events, such as the Top 10% Breakfast and Baccalaureate (organized by SPO).
