As Final exam week comes closer, there is a change in schedules and regulations set in place to ensure a successful last week.
To exempt Finals, review days are mandatory to attend. For Seniors, review day is the entirety of May 16 and for underclassmen, review day is spread out between May 16 to 20.
Late arrival or early release students must take the responsibility for being on campus for scheduled exams.
On testing days, students must stay in their designated classroom the entire period. Students are not allowed to check out early unless they have already communicated their circumstances with their assistant principal.
Students with double block class periods are taking their Final during only one of the periods that is up to teacher discretion. Once that period is complete, a student does not need to attend the second block of that class. However, this is only permitted with parent approval.
No Final exams will be permitted to be taken before their designated date marked in the schedule. If a student is unable to attend an exam on the given date then they must cooperate with their teacher and assistant principal to schedule for another time. However, the final date for exam make-up is May 30 at 8 a.m. Students that have not done their Final on the corresponding day will get a 0 before their make up.
If a student does not meet the expectations seen above then they may experience grade reductions, multiple exams in one day, Summer school requirements for credit or other circumstances.
Good luck on Finals!
