The Historical Movie Analysis Club is back and meeting every Friday in room 1248 during cougar block. This club consists of watching shows and films that show historical significance and accuracy to events in history to grow an overall understanding.
Meetings are open to all dual credit U.S. history students and consist of watching a historical film or show, chosen by the recently elected President, Trey Jackson, and improved by the DC U.S. History professor, Mr. Taylor. Officer elections were recently held, and members include Carter Beckmann as Vice President, Kimberly Turner as Publicity, Madison Durst as Usher, and Estefania Narvaez and Sofia Sandra as Secretaries.
The club is currently planning on viewing “The Help”, released in 2011 and directed by Tate Taylor and depicted off of the Kathryn Stockett novel released in early 2009, this Friday and over the next few Fridays during cougar block.
The club is currently working on putting up shirts and sweatshirts to sell to club members.
