Sophomore class rank is out now!
Sophomore class rank is determined by GPA, calculated after the third, fourth, sixth, and seventh semesters. Semester grades include 15 extra quality points for AP, TAP, and Dual Credit courses. Students must submit verification records within 30 days for external courses to count toward GPA.
Home Access Center (HAC) updates rankings periodically, reflecting students’ academic performance. The grading periods are:
- Aug. 13 – Oct. 9 (First Nine Weeks)
- Oct. 15 – Dec. 20 (Second Nine Weeks)
- Jan. 8 – Mar. 7 (Third Nine Weeks)
- Mar. 18 – May 22 (Fourth Nine Weeks)
Rankings can change unexpectedly. A student holding the top position may be surpassed due to weighted coursework, testing performance, or strategic class selections. The difference between first and second place can be a fraction of a point, making every grade and course decision critical.
