The Annual Miss Tomball Pageant will be held Saturday, Nov. 23 at Real Life Ministries starting at 7 p.m.
Miss Tomball is presented by Aloha Beauty Lounge. The pageant is welcome to juniors and seniors to compete for both the Miss Tomball title and scholarships. This opportunity brings leadership, confidence, and friendships outside of the pageant.
“I have tried a lot of things in high school, so I am excited to try Miss Tomball and meet a lot of new people,” said Emily Fowlkes, THS Miss Tomball contestant.
The process of this pageant is detailed and starts with a parade of all the contestants, part of the Tomball Holiday Parade up Main Street. This parade plays a major part in the pageant because it’s where the contestants can meet the crowd and create a good impression.
Following the parade, the pageant begins with the evening gown section. This is when they walk across the stage and read out their accomplishments. After a section of interviews, the contestants go from 24, to 8, to then 5. The top 5 all get asked the same question but share their own answers which then helps the judges pick Miss Tomball 2025.
“I’m looking forward to making new friendships and learning from this experience! I’ve already met some incredibly talented young women and it’s making me so excited to see how this will all play out” said Julia Espitia, THS Miss Tomball contestant.
