If science is your specialty, now is your chance with Science Olympiad.
The club meets every Tuesday after school in Jennie Winsett’s classroom, number 1325. There are various new events this year and all grades are welcome to participate.
“Students can conduct scientific studies on subjects they are not expressly taught in class about at school,” Winsett said. “At events, they test with a partner and compete against other schools. Physical sciences, chemistry, forensics, engineering, and other subjects are covered.”
However, If you choose to take part, you must be committed.

“You are being relied on by the rest of the team to study your event and come up with, work with your partner, come up with your cheat sheet, and compete,” she said.
