It’s a known fact that high school students stress over the college processes. From polishing up your grades, college applications, reaching out to colleges, and much more it’s a process that requires much preparation and readiness. In light of this, two juniors decided to take matters into their own hands and expand the resources and community surrounding this stigma.
This club is actually not new to THS but as the last president graduated last year, it was up to Juniors Victoria Palmas and Eliza Andriassyan to continue it. Starting this year Palmas and Andriassyan are co-presidents of college and career readiness club along with help from their sponsor Emily Nichols.
“The club’s purpose is to prepare students that don’t know what they want to do for college,” Palmas said. “We will provide resources, guest speakers, aid on starting college essays, and what you should put on college apps.”
This club will be especially appealing for upperclassmen, as they are closer o the college processes. That being said the club is open to any and all who are interested. If you think you might be interested, reach out to Victoria, Eliza or Nichols for more information.
