Cougar block is going to be changing starting today.
Students will be going to the Cougar Block that they have chosen.People who are in sports would have to pick their coaches room or if they are in a club then students would have to choose their club’s teacher.
”Students are allowed to go to a different Cougar Block,” Associate Principal Sara Cooley said, meaning students can go get help from another teacher or attend a club meeting.
This will create a way for students to be able to go to club meetings during Cougar Block only Tuesday – Thursday only.Cougar Block was made as an extra period for studying for a test or any subject with homework that needs to be finished.
“Students will be changing Cougar Block on Thursday,” Counselor Karen Hill-Smith said, meaning students will go to their new Cougar Block their second period class. They need to check their schedule online to find their new assignment.
This is a great opportunity for students to choose a cougar block that would be good for them to hangout with their friends, and get stuff done.Therefore Cougar Block has been created in the student schedule.
