Break-in at THS, TPD searching for suspects

Late after the Varsity Football game Friday night, two individuals broke-in to Tomball High School, vandalizing classrooms and administrative offices.

The suspects were reportedly attempting to steal money from the school, but couldn’t access the safe in the accounting offices. The vandals instead left $40,000 in water damages.

“It is unfortunate these individuals broke into Tomball High School, but this incident has not impacted daily operations and classes continue as usual,” Tomball ISD spokesperson, Dr. Stacey Stanfield, said.

Anyone with information regarding the break-in should contact the Tomball Police Department as soon as possible. Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that could lead to an arrest.
