Soaring above expectations, defying the pull of gravity, and vaulting into history, Ben Prince is not just an athlete; he is a sky chaser with a pole as his wand and the bar as his spell to be broken.
Ben is a sophomore who has been doing track is entering his fourth year. In track there are many events to do, but the one that stood out to Ben was Pole vault. He joined track because it is fun to go to the meets and hang out with his friends.
In Pole vault there was one person that Ben looked up to, Carson Monaray. Carson was a really good teammate that showed good sportsmanship and set the example for others. Ben also joined track because his brother had done it. Ben’s brother was really good at track and had shown Ben what is great about track.
As Ben does track, he makes sure to keep on practicing even when he is not at school. He goes to the gym to lift weights and do multiple exercises.
“If you keep working hard and do not quit you can accomplish what it is you wish,” Ben said.
